How Does It Work?

Within your SplashMetricsTM account you can immediately measure and compare everything from multiple campaigns for your company, to the success of various media channels within a campaign, to specific campaign assets such as interactive product tours, YouTube views, Twitter mentions, or even specific messaging within Flash ads. By combining and comparing these disparate metrics from each asset and each media channel, SplashMetricsTM provides much more meaningful reports than traditional analytics solutions. It tells you precisely how your convergent campaign is doing.

There are three basic components to SplashMetricsTM :

1. Analytics Objectives. What are the objectives of your campaign? What questions need to be answered to validate its success, or "splash"? From big picture analytics across multiple campaigns to detailed analysis of specific messaging or individual media components, we assist our clients as needed in devising their analytics objectives and the strategic and creative means to achieve them.

2. DataPoint Implementation. Next we identify all the data points, what we call "droplets", across the spectrum of campaign assets that will be necessary to provide the answers to the questions asked above. Then we devise the means for properly implementing these droplets into each of the assets (whether digital ads, websites/microsites, mobile, social, and/or traditional media).

3. Reporting Customization. Finally, we set up your SplashMetricsTM account(s) by "wiring" these droplets together into comparative charts and graphs, what we call "drops", through which you receive real-time answers for every campaign and asset you're tracking. Finally, we further distill these "drops" into an "Executive Summary" dashboard that holds top-level graphs and charts specific to your original Analytics Objectives. With one click, you get a comprehensive, real-time view of your campaign's success.

When you log in to your SplashMetricsTM account, you can select from your company's various campaigns. There you are presented with animated graphs and/or charts that give you a snapshot of your campaign's overall performance - customized to your established "Analytics Objectives".

From there, you can drill down into the various assets used in your campaign such as ads, messaging platforms, product features, social networking features, mobile apps, etc. At this level additional graphs and/or charts show the analytics objectives established for each of those assets.

From here, you can click on each of these metrics data points for an easy-to-read, dynamic chart and/or graph showing you the performance of that particular asset for that particular marketing goal. With this information you can determine exactly what adjustments you might need to make in ad saturation, messaging, audience demographics... you name it.
